This is a lovely little gout stool in excellent condition.
The upholstery looks like it could well be the original material.
There is a very small tear to the upholstery which shows up white on the photo.
One of the front legs has had a small but very professional repair.

This stool has a wooden top with a star inlay, please see the photo. The diameter of the top is 11".
The base is metal with a tension screw to hold the seat to the correct height. There are fixing holes in the feet which leads one to believe that it may have come from a ship?.
The lowest height is 17.5" and when fully raised it sits at 2'
The stool has been restored and has a hand waxed seat. |
